About This Project

My name is O.B. I'm an independent researcher based in Southeastern Massachusetts. This site exists to document my ongoing investigation into a series of audio files of unknown origin accessed via QR codes found at local train stations.

While not quite a novice, my background isn’t in academia or formal science. I do not claim to be an expert. Much of my life has been spent reading about local folklore, indigenous history, cryptozoology, and the stranger corners of communication theory. Despite popular belief, these are not strictly the domain of the deluded or dishonest. I am not a liar, or an invalid. What I am, is someone who believes unanswered questions are still worth asking.

What began as a middling curiosity has left me at my wits' end. The further I've dug, the more convinced I've become that something unusual is at play. These recordings don’t behave like normal media files. They exhibit strange acoustic properties and, in several cases, seem to contain fragmented speech that doesn’t match typical noise patterns. Some of the language, if I’m parsing it correctly, may even suggest historical or cultural references far older than the technology that delivered them.

This site serves as a place to track, organize, and share my progress. If anyone out there recognizes something in the audio, or has information that might help... please reach out. I'm quite open to collaboration. All I ask is that any feedback be thoughtful, and that it come from a place of genuine inquiry.

Thank you for taking the time to explore this with me.

— O.B.
